Right now, my students are facing an uncertain reality as far as coming back to school. By running an air purifier to provide clean air when they enter my classroom, I am helping them be a bit more settled about returning to school. Even then, however, our limited funds pose a challenge when providing my students with a technology-driven learning experience. By allowing them to view high-resolution images on a TV/video screen and being able to present my lessons to them digitally is imperative to learning in the 21st century. A document camera and rolling cart will help me show students how to work Punnett squares, draw diagrams, and write examples while lecturing. In addition to classroom-use items, these products will help me provide distance learning during times when my students will need to be at home. Since there is an end-of-course test for biology, I must be sure to continue to guide my students' mastery of the objectives, despite the uncertain learning conditions this year is presenting. Since we live in a lower-income district, there is not much money in the budget for purchasing these technology items I need to provide my students with the best opportunity.
