  • Bringing Technology to the Math Classroom!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation to fund a laptop for my classroom! We utilize many online platforms for classwork and homework and this technology will help my students access the sites right from class.

    Using programs like DeltaMath and Desmos from students' phones are often times too small to view images. Therefore having this classroom computer allows my students to see enlarged images, equations, and symbols!

    As a teacher, this laptop will also provide me a means to assess students, create engaging lessons, and take part in parent engagement.

  • Classroom iPad to Assist Student Learning

    Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students are so grateful for the iPad you gifted us and they have really been able to utilize it in our math classroom.

    The iPad has been used to help students complete homework in class who otherwise do not have access to technology. It has also allowed students who have been absent to use Google Classroom to see what notes they've missed and/or to review a lesson.

    Many students have trouble seeing the class notes and homework from their phone so this iPad has really helped them to see an enlarged version and work collaboratively with their peers.”

  • Geometry Toolkits for Remote/Hybrid Learning

    Thank you so much for your generous donation! The graphing notebooks were a huge help for students especially since we ended up going full remote. The students also really liked the decal motivational stickers and many of them placed them on their phones or laptops.

    The compass and straightedges were so helpful to the students as well. Many students were not able to get to stores or did not have the means to purchase them this year, so they were very grateful for the tools to be successful in Geometry.

Often times my students don't have the funds or means to purchase their own supplies for class. This is especially amplified this year given what our country is going through right now. Rather than having students running around trying to find supplies for class, I would love to help alleviate some of this pressure and stress. Please help me by providing each student a pencil case including a compass, straightedge, pencils, graphing notebook, and motivational stickers for their laptop or phone. That way, they can be successful from home while participating in remote learning, and allow me as their teacher to focus on helping them as much as possible during this difficult time!

About my class
