Keep Us Goin'
Funded Apr 1, 2021This project was so exciting to have funded. As a teacher, I always seem to start the year out with the supplies and snacks I need to fuel my students for the year. However, as time passes, I find our glue sticks are used and we hardly have any pencils left. It was especially sad this year when a student accidentally broke the pencil sharpener. It was really hard to try and find other ways for students to sharpen pencils. I was thrilled when the new sharpener came!
I am so grateful for each of your generosity. I am blown away by the kindness and supportive I receive as a teacher. I could not do it without so many generous donors. Thank you so much!!”

Let's Get Reading
Funded Mar 16, 2021I am so excited about this magazine subscription! I have been researching ways to bring other subjects into the classroom. Once I found Scholastic Magazine News I was hooked! This magazine helps our classroom discuss other subject besides math and reading. The magazine connects to the students in ways I hadn't thought about before. I absolutely love this news.
I'm so excited to be getting this monthly magazine and have access to the online platform. We can watch videos that the website has posted and it really brings things to life for the students.
Thank you so much for being so generous and donating to my classroom. It is so overwhelming to receive your kindness!”

Funded Feb 13, 2021I am so excited to have this project funded. I cannot wait to get these bags put together and pass them out to students. The students are going to be thrilled to have this tote bag to turn to when they need a sweet treat, a notebook to journal in, a ball to squeeze, etc.
I absolutely loving teaching third grade. I love the way my students thrive off of positive rewards and a positive atmosphere. It's awesome to teach students to push through hard things. I love to be able to teach them strategies to work through the difficult moments and to be able to have resources available to them for those moments.
Thank you again for your generosity!”

Funded Oct 28, 2020I cannot believe this project got funded! I am absolutely thrilled to have the proper supplies needed to hand to students who would like to be apart of the running club!
Running is something that has brought me a lot of joy! I have come to love the stamina and the mental strength I have built because of running. I am hoping these are things I can teach and pass onto the students in our running club.
I am excited to have supplies on hand for students who are unable to purchase them for themselves. I know this will encourage any student to join who has the desire to.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the donation to fund this project! Thank you!”

Funded Oct 16, 2020I feel overwhelmed by gratitude and excitement for this project being funded! I am so excited to be apart of the running club at my school for the first time this year. I cannot wait to get started!
From my co-workers experience in the past, spring weather can be cold! And they noticed a lot of students did not have the proper gear to run in the cold weather. Having jackets on hand to give to students on colder days will help a lot! I am also excited to have a few extra pairs of sneakers on hand for students who would like to join but are unable to purchase them themselves.
I love running and the physical and mental health benefits that come from running. I love how pushing through running has helped me develop mental strength and stamina. I hope you instill this in our future runners. Thank you again!”

Funded Jan 14, 2021I am so grateful that this project got funded. I have several students who have difficulty focusing. There are times, especially during full group instruction, when I can see they almost lack the ability to focus on the lesson. I have found that when they have something in their hands, it definitely helps!
I know those specific students are going to be excited about these different sensory items that can stay in their box on their shelf. I can direct them to grab one of the items before a full group instruction. I know they will be excited to choose one and use during the lesson. I am excited to see their focus and their grades improve.
I absolutely love teaching. I love to be able to have the right resources for my students and their different learning abilities.
Thank you!”

Funded Dec 2, 2020I'm blown away by your generosity! Thank you so much!
My students are amazing. I love being able to reward them for reading points, math facts, good behavior, etc. And I have found that a simple snack is something they LOVE to earn!
I'm excited to be able to have a huge stash of salty and sweet snacks for students to choose from when they pass their math facts or do awesome as a class during library or for a sub. I love being able to reward them!
The students are always so excited to watch as our "snack" bag gets restocked! They love to be able to look through it.
Thank you again so very much!!”

This classroom project was brought to life by FamilyAlbum and 3 other donors.Books, Books, and More Books!
Funded Nov 9, 2020I absolutely love reading and I love to provide a full and rich library for my students. Each year I'm blown away by the way the students search for a new favorite book. I love to be able to expand my library and help students find new genres or authors to fall in love with.
It was extremely exciting to open all of the boxes of books. I did it with my students so they could "ooo" and "aww" over our beautiful new books. They were excited to find the correct place to put them on the shelf and when free reading time came around, those new books came flying off the shelves.
I am so grateful for your generosity. As a teacher there is only so much I can do. It's so amazing to have individuals who choose to donate their own money to help classrooms across our country. Thank you again, so much!”

Funded Oct 26, 2020BEST DAY EVER! Thank you so much for donating to this project! I cannot wait to get my storage drawers and begin organizing the boxes and shelves of art supplies, snacks, math manipulatives, etc. I know this will decrease clutter I have in my room and increase space!
I am so excited about the treats I have coming for prizes. I have students who have already met certain goals for reading and they are anxiously awaiting to choose their can of soda or their pack of gum. I know they will be standing in line as I tear open the boxes!
I am so grateful for organizations and people who choose to donate to the public schools. Every donation is greatly appreciated. I love teaching and I'm overjoyed with the fact that people are choosing to help me better the students in my classroom. Thank you!”

Funded Oct 19, 2020WAHOO! This is the best day ever! I was so excited when this project got funded! Do you know how hungry a bunch of third graders get? They do!
I'm blown away by how a little snack once a day really helps their tummies and minds refocus. We like to take a little break sometime throughout the day. We use the restroom, choose a snack and relax for about five minutes. The third graders LOVE this time! THEY get to choose their snack, THEY get to sit and chat with a friend, THEY get a break! And I'm amazed at how awesome they are as soon as its time to clean up. They are ready for more school work.
I'm so excited about the snacks that will be coming to our classroom. It is going to be so nice to know that I have things on hand for our break and in case there is a hungry student at a different time throughout the day, Thanks a million!!”

Mrs. McNeel
