The Sherlock Bones set will allow my students to understand that bones are incredibly useful as forensic evidence. Discovering these bone sets will engage them in understanding not only the anatomy of our bones but how each bone reveals a clue as to the person that once walked with those said bones. Students will use STEM techniques, as they work with calipers and protractors to measure and analyze the bones. From these measurements, they will be able to put a "name and face" to the mystery victim. Eventually, they will even be able to create a mathematical formula for their own height, to be able to see if their bones are accurate to their own height.
