• All State Winners

  In the fall we had the honor of having 58 students selected for regional honor choir. This past weekend our choir had the pleasure of watching 17 of our students participate in the highly competitive Jazz and Jr High All State Honor Choirs of Oklahoma. Next weekend we will have 9 more participate in the Oklahoma High School All State Choir experience. These are incredibly difficult choirs to qualify for and this was only made possible by your support. You gave early in the year to ensure that the singers had the music needed to audition.

  Our school is a Title 1 School in Oklahoma, which put simply means that the majority of our students are considered economically challenged. Your donation made a huge difference in their lives. As an educator, I rely heavily on the generosity of Donors to support the endeavors of our singers. I dream big because the donors from Donors Choose always come through for my kids.”

• Barbershop Till You Drop

• Singing in Tune & Looking Sharp

  Thank you so very much for giving to our choir program. Your donation allows all of our students to participate in wearing choir uniforms throughout the year for all our events.

  As a low socio economic school setting it is only through generation from people like you that we are able to achieve the goal of free uniforms for all of our singers. It has been my personal mission to secure these uniforms for all our choir students. This final donors choose project completed our closet. As we roll into the 2023/24 school year our students will definitely be "singing in tune and looking sharp". This wouldn't have been possible without your help. Thanks again!!!”

• Show Up and Show Off

  Thank you so much for your donations. This specific project allowed for us to create our own show choir dresses at no cost to our students. The students had a design competition and the selected design was created by me with the help of students. It is always a joy to see the creativity in the show choir when they are able to design with themselves in mind, helping to create a cohesive story throughout their song set. This project opened up possibilities for them and made the perfect fit possible for all our varying body types!!”

• All State All Stars!

  You generous donations allowed all my students that wanted to audition for all state and all region choir the ability to do so. Your donation purchased music packets for 45 singers. As a result we had 41 selected for regional honor choir, 24 make it through the first round of all state auditions, and 19 selected for the honor. This project put music in the hands of 6th -12th graders that love to sing and longed for that extra enrichment.

  I can't thank you enough for helping students with this! You created equity and allowed so many an opportunity they wouldn't normally get to have!

• Holding It All Together!

  I am so thankful for you and your contributions to the choir program. The folders purchased in this project have already been used for regional and all state honor choirs. The students looked absolutely regal as they wore their concert formal and held their brand new choral binders.

  This has also aided In the day to day practices of our classroom. The student binders are kept at the front of the room and students grab them as they come in to start the course. This keeps them organized and on task. That is a major blessing for this teacher .

• Dynamic Designs

  I can't describe the excitement the students had while assembly the dress forms and cutting tables provided by this project. We have lacked a space to lay out patterns and prepare fabric for projects. With this Donors choose we are able to move forward with our Music Theater design project, our fashion design units, and our draping - along with so many other things!!!

  This year we have been busy creating a space/classroom that is functional for this course and you were an important part of the progress that has occured.
