My students come from predominantly low income households. Our community was heavily impacted by COVID-19, and now we’ve been utterly devastated by Hurricane Ida. I’ve written this project to bring some joy to our classroom. By keeping the environment safe and clean, I hope to keep us all healthy and ready to learn. The candy is just for fun. What kid doesn’t need a little sweet treat here or there when they are putting in so much effort and having so much negativity in their communities? Thank you for your help!
