The days of sitting in a desk, with the teacher at the front of the room, are in the past. Children need to collaborate, explore, and problem solve in a way that makes sense to them. Students don't need to be lectured, they need to be guided, given 'little crumbs' to find connections in the world around them through interaction and HANDS-ON experiences. Learning experiences are what drive curiosity AND inquiry, which is crucial in the 21st century. I want to create a classroom that is SAFE to take risks, wonder, and explore curiosity. These materials will bring THE WORLD to my students fingertips! THANK YOU, for the opportunity, to make that happen!
