As I teach from home, it is crucial that students see writing and annotation so that they may observe an learn these practices and strategies. I will model thought processes through written language. There are certain strategies that are taught when a teacher can model with pen and paper while having the student follow along. A document camera will allow my students to feel as if they are learning with me. Even though we are distance learning, I feel it is important that student learn by observing writing and also practicing writing with pen and paper.
