The materials in this project will help my students learn strategies to be in the general education classroom. Most of my students have autism, and they may have times where there is a sensory overload. I want to provide them with materials that will help calm them down so they can work again. The materials in this project are going to help my students with behaviors and academics. Like stated above, the students may have times where they need a sensory break. The sensory timers will help my students with this. The academic aspect comes into play with the floor mats, write-wipe-pockets, and the unifix manipulatives.
