    Thank you for the wonderful resources! They are helping my students calm down and better understand and identify their emotions. They are helping them develop empathy, increase self-control and manage stress. they are also helping them build better relationships and interpersonal skills that will serve them in our classroom, our school, and at their homes with their families.

    My students were so interested and overjoyed to see the new area and posters. They really appreciate the Calm down area, ideas and materials.

    We will continue to practice using this area and materials appropriately when necessary.”

  • Please Help My 1st Graders Experience The Benefits Of Yoga

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind contributions. We are really enjoying doing Yoga activities after lunch. The children really look forward to the experience. The children are  growing and developing in countless ways. They are following directions, developing  respect and exercising self control.  We are  noticing  their growth and development in various areas.  Thanks again for making this  dream a beautiful reality. Yoga is bringing important learning opportunities  to our classroom.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Wasserman Foundation and 22 other donors.
My students are low income, high risk, easily distracted students. I am hoping that with clean carpets my students feel comfortable, safe, respected and become more focused, organized and responsible individuals. This vacuum will help them feel like their well-being is a priority. I'm sure that any student would prefer to learn in a clean environment.
