Last March, students and teachers all over the globe were thrust into a period of Distance Learning, or as some of us teachers call it: Crisis Learning. We had only a few weeks or even days to adapt to a new kind of teaching and learning. My students, like many others, struggled to understand the academic content being taught through a computer screen, especially in math and language arts. If you give this class an iPad, you will help me provide better virtual instruction for my students through the use of apps like Paper, Doceri, or the ShowMe interactive whiteboard app. Not only will this iPad bundle benefit my students throughout our Distance Learning period, but it will also be helpful when we return to in-person instruction. The possibilities are endless when it comes to enhancing our learning through the use of technology.
