Our classroom needs technology at our fingertips. The Kindle Fire tablets will allow young students to safely embrace the world of web-based learning while encouraging independent thinking, improving computer skills, and enhancing instruction. Tablets provide opportunities for customized instruction and 1:1 assessment of progress. Students will have access to learning games and instruction based on his or her individual learning style. By using web-based learning activities, I am able to track and assess each student's performance. I am able to use this information to guide student instruction. Additionally, the headphones promote access to online learning with sound, but without interruptions to others. The headphones are wireless and easy to clean.
