  • Listen Up!

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

thank you for supporting Listen Up! Each student was given a pair of headphones for personal usage to use while learning or listening. The headphones was a tool used to help students stay focus and block out unwanted noise. The students enjoyed being able to focus and pay attention to their individual activities as they were engaged on their personal iPads and or Little Learners by Lakeshore and even in the technology center. Students also enjoyed the headphones in the library center listening to books. The project Listen Up was a great success in the classroom!”

    With gratitude,

These headphones will allow each and every student to have their own pair of headphones so they can participate in independent, differentianted instruction using the technology in our classroom. Having color-coordinated strorage boxes to store headphoes in will allow each table to easily access and store their headphones. Additoinally, having enough headphones for every student and keeping them in table storage bins will help keep my students safe during Covid. Students will be able to use their headphones during centers to work on Little Scholars, a program that allows each individual student to work on pre-reading skills, letter recognition, science, early math, and much more. Having headphones would allow students to engage and focus without being distracted by others at their center. Being able to provide each student with their own pair of headphones will also help keep students safe and save time sanitizing so we can spend more time learning!
