Kids tend to turn off the "learning" switch when they are home due to them being surrounded by a comfortable and familiar environment filled with tempting distractions. The use of headphones will help to isolate them away from all the background noise and distractions so that we can immerse them fully into a virtual classroom experience. It will also make it easier for them to speak with a microphone attached to the headphones so they don't have to stand up and lean close to the web cam in order to be heard.
