With the COVID-19 outbreak, schools that are returning to traditional brick-and-mortar learning are making significant changes. The biggest change that significantly impacts my classroom is that there can be no sharing of any supplies. My classroom is stocked and designed to optimize the sharing of supplies across grade levels and classes, but I am no longer able to do so.
My goal is to provide all my students with individual supply kits that will hopefully include some of their favorite mediums. Luckily, almost all of my younger students already have their own colored pencils and crayons. But my older students often lack these supplies and would need to be provided with their own set. My budget will currently allow me to provide the materials for those in need but at the price of cutting some of their favorite art projects. My students deserve the best, and I really hope to be able to include their favorite mediums in their individual kits.
I would love to be able to provide supplies for painting and 3D projects for all grade levels. Most of my students can not afford to purchase anything more than what is necessary for their academic courses. So it is my hope to be able to provide those in need with their basic art supplies, as well as some of the favorite mediums for all my awesome artists-in-the-making!
