  • Give Us Power!

    Funded Aug 6, 2024

It brings me extreme happiness to have been the recipient of funds for my project. We are all powered up! The compact storage units are versatile. They can be mobile and my students can charge as needed without my assistance.

We use our Chromebooks often. Sometimes we use them several times a day. They have various programs with targets or assignments. Without your gracious gifts this could have easily become a problem creating chaos. Students' computers are continuously powered which also enables us to do some fun activities with STEM!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • Protect Me! I'm Needed!

    Funded Aug 4, 2023

Thanks to you our classroom is a little bit more organized. The seat pockets allow my students to retrieve needed items very quickly. They are like little super heroes for each student. The seat pockets house and protect items that are fragile and can get bent, torn, or destroyed very easily.

The pockets came with an added bonus. The name tag slots aid in locating a child's seat rapidly. There is a small area where students can keep their writing supplies. My students are really enjoying the seat pockets.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • Organizing Our Seats

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

You and your selfless donations allowed my students and I to receive seat pockets. It may seem like such a minor thing, however when it comes to organization and having the important materials ready and available to retrieve they are a life saver.

My students were thrilled to when they saw them. They did not initially have them when school first began. The bright colored seat pockets provide extra storage, the name plate pockets allow any visitors to quickly locate a student, and they can keep easily damaged items in good condition.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • Navigating Into a New School Year

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

With great anticipation my students and I would like to thank you for your generous donations.

Everyday material is often forgotten in the big scheme of things. Without them we wouldn't be able to accomplish the great things. Items such as pencil pals, folders, and colored paper, and glue sticks are some of the foundations for a successful school year.

Once I exposed the treasures to my students and explained to them that they were gifted to us they were excited and thankful.

We will continue to use the materials as we dive into many new projects as we plan to be successful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

  • Tired Pencils in Need of a Vacation

    Funded Jul 1, 2022

I would like to take the time to thank you tremendously for the gracious donations. We are currently using them and plan to continue the usage until they are depleted.

During the first week of school I told my students about some giving friends that were nice enough to give us with some classroom materials. The next day I had them displayed in the room so that they could see them when they entered. They are were all smiles when they saw them and we discussed some of the items and how they thought we should use them. I reminded them that when we receive gifts that they must be used wisely and taken care of.

Our next step would be using our butterfly voucher to see if we can successfully raise and release some.”

    With gratitude,

  • Covid -19 Survivors

    Funded Aug 4, 2020

Thank you very much for the the resources that you all provided. They were very helpful and needed during this stressful time. We have used many of the material in day to day activities.

I told my students that I had a surprise for them that was donated to us by family and new friends. This immediately caused their attention to peak. I informed them that I would be sending pictures of our projects. They are extremely excited and thankful.

We have been studying the solar system. They have learned about the planets, the atmosphere, the first visitors to the moon and how gravity affects us. We will conduct an experiment on what gravity does to objects.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. White

We ended the 2019-20 school year in a very unusual way. We were thrown into distance learning. Although we had not prepared for it we made adjustments rather quickly. This school year will begin in the same manner. Student will need their own personal items at their desk. I will do as much as possible to keep all areas clean and sanitized with the assistance of my donors. My students and I will not be able to physically interact. These supplies will help us in our fight against this pandemic.
