I am the Middle School Program Manager at an Autism Charter School. We serve students across the spectrum. This is my fifth year at our school. We have grown so much since I started and our students keep making amazing progress. Many students that were here my first year have gone on to be successful in other public and charter schools. Many of my students who were non/low verbal my first year now can't stop talking. We have highly animated conversations about all kinds of subjects. Our students are highly creative in so many ways. Many write and illustrate books and comic books. In the past two years, we have navigated COVID-19. We shut down like the rest of Arizona. However, we were the first school to reopen that June. Our students were so happy to be back at school. Even in the middle of a pandemic, our students grew their test scores and saw growth on their goals.

About my class
