Thank you so much for our sensory items. These items allow the students to self regulate. There are times when we have to assist in helping students with reminders that sensory is needed. They LOVED all of the items! As they took the items out of the boxes, their face lit up! They wanted to put what they needed in their desk. You made their day!!! I'm so appreciative that you care about the child as a whole. There is so much more to education than just standing at the front of a room and lecturing.”

Thank you so much for your recent donation. Your generosity allowed my students to give food for their friends. It allows them to show compassion. Also allows them to find a way to meet the basic needs of their peers. when people are hungry, and is very difficult for them to function. Your kindness allowed students to feel like they have made it past survival and make it to a level of functioning at school and at home. We will continue to send positive words and actions to the students and hopefully we will be able to send more food at another time.”

Thank you so much for your donation of cards, markers, and coloring pages that will become cards. The book will also allow the students to see what is like to have a family member gone during the holidays, due to fighting for our freedom. The students are excited to help. Your kindness has springboard been a springboard into the community and teachers living and inspiring others. I appreciate your kindness! Sometimes donors miss out on the impact that their love inspires. You have inspired students and adults. Thank you again!”

Thank you so much for your kindness and donations. All of these supplies were definitely needed and used today on our first day of school. We used the Velcro strips to match as we counted by fives and matched upper to lowercase letters. We used the Clorox wipes to clean off the tables when we were done.
We used the pencils as we wrote out our CVC words and created sentences. We use the Kleenex, just because we need Kleenexes on a regular basis. We used the dry erase erasers as we wrote on the table and did inventive spelling which turned into spelling words with blends. you helped us in so many ways. Thank you so much.”

thank you so much for bringing this opportunity to life. When the students came into the classroom and I explained the effects of the fan and clean air, they were very excited. Today it was 94°, and it started.
One of the students said it's so hot today can you please turn on that fan and give us some clean cold air? I just smiled. Another kid said I'm so glad that it's not stinky anymore. Thank you for making this real.
We also have plants in the classroom to help with keeping the air clean, but an air purifier, especially when I add the fans with the air purifiers, brings a whole different perspective to clean air. Thank you again!”

I am not sure if the students who made bags or the children who will receive the bags will be touched more. As the students decorated the bags, some realized how grateful they were that they have always lived in their house. Others cried, knowing that they had been on the other side. They remembered being placed in foster care and feeling all alone. When the students opened the box, they immediately started making the bags. They also wanted to buy more stuff, so we did. They wanted each child to feel loved. When the foster care workers from the Department of Children's Services arrived, they smiled (and cried) knowing they changed lives.”
Thank you so much for you donations. The students were so excited when they opened the boxes and realized that they were going to have something to eat this summer. Some students actually don't like weekends because they know they won't be able to have full meals. Your donations made the dream of eating during the summer a reality. I am so appreciative. We cook on Fridays and the students take home the leftovers. These snacks will give them protein, fun snacks, and a smile as they enter the summer.”

Thank you so much for the kind donation of chairs. Our class is doubling in size. Our students use these chairs to calm down when they get in stressful situations. They also use them when they are in need of some time alone.
It is hard to grasp the immense impact that your donation had on my students. Sometimes they just need a moment to get away and regroup. When the students are able to step away and breathe, they are able to come back to the group and try again. Their "mistakes" turn into learning opportunities. Thank you for making this possible!”

Thank you so much for allowing my students to make food bags for their friends who don't have food on a regular basis. They loved putting together the bags. As they added cereal, bars, cereal, and noodles, they said they are going to love this. When they got to the easy Mac, they said these are my favorite. When they got to the tuna, they asked, are they going to have this for lunch? Then, they smiled and picked their favorite kind of cereal, granola bars, and such. They loved knowing that their friends would enjoy the kind that things that they enjoyed.”

Thank you so much for the opportunity to keep our school in tiptop shape for the community. Our students have enjoyed cleaning the building and showing off the great facility that we have for the community.
They've also enjoyed taking great pride and where they go to school and allowing the communities who come and visits their school. Thank you for giving us the materials to keep it clean in we several ways. You have given them a rare opportunity. You are making a difference one child at a time. Thank you!”
