The books in my Donors Choose Project will help support the reading curriculum I will use in my 1st Grade classroom. By helping fund this project, you are helping my students and I continue learning inside the classroom and at home. These books will be a daily/weekly focus for reading comprehension, questioning, grammar, and thoughtful conversations. These books are also an excellent way for me to add diversity into my classroom book collection. Many different ethnicities are represented beautifully in many of these books. The topics throughout these books will help spark heartfelt, meaningful conversations with my first graders.

About my class
