During these uncertain times, students are left to wonder if they will ever get back into a classroom. These materials I am asking for will be used for creating a welcoming and safe place for students with emotional disabilities to come back to when we are allowed to return to school. Creating a safe and positive work area for these students is a crucial piece to their learning. These materials will assist my students in a varity of ways. Some of the resources will help my students with day to day tasks such as the date, weather and writng. Others serve students as reminders to how they should think or react to a situation and how to fix the situation when needed. Students will benefit from these visiual reminders of how to process their emotions and use the growth mindset. There are several resources on Teachers pay Teachers that would benitfit my students with emotional growth. They match the Zones of Regulation with fun characters from the Disney movie InsideOut. These posters, reminders and other resources will assit my students with finding appropriate words to match their feeings and give solutions to working through the problem with and without assitance. All of these resources will benifit my students in achiving thier end goal of transitioning from our home classroom to the general education classroom.
