  • Keep it Organized!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you for supporting my project. My students were so happy to see the plastic trays that will help them stay organized. Each student has been using the trays in their desk to store their crayons, pencils, markers, scissors, erasers, and glue. It's been a great help in preventing their school supplies from falling on the floor and getting lost. My students are learning that staying organized takes a lot of work but in the end, it's worth the time and effort.

I genuinely appreciate your supporting my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Viernes

  • Super Supplies!

    Funded Mar 4, 2023

Thank you for supporting my classroom. I look forward to using all the supplies for the rest of the school year. My students have been enjoying the snacks at recess and the construction paper has provided them with fun craft activities to decorate our room. Also, they're having so much fun playing Candy Land and Trouble during center time. I truly appreciate you supporting my classroom by filling it with craft supplies, prizes, snacks, school supplies, and games to last until the end of the school year. I am incredibly grateful for your generosity!”

  • Teamwork Success!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you for supporting my classroom with materials to use this school year. The magnetic tiles are a hit with my students. It's helping my students develop life skills like taking turns, problem-solving, sharing, listening, and speaking. I see it improving my shy student's self-confidence because it's a safe place to express their ideas on what they want to build together. Also, thank you for providing me with the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, bins to organize my play center, and colored cardstock for labeling. I am forever grateful!”

  • Basic Supplies For First Graders!

    Funded Oct 29, 2022

Thank you for your generous support. We've been using all the supplies you donated to my first-grade class. These materials will help learning occur across the curriculum and to the end of the school year. My students especially like playing with the magnetic blocks and using their creativity to build the tallest tower, a rocket, and many other things. I am truly grateful for your donation because it has helped me provide my students with STEM games, snacks for recess, and fun and engaging lessons.”

  • New Year, New Supplies!

    Funded Sep 3, 2022

Thank you for supporting my first-grade classroom. These materials helped me stay organized and helped my students find things because their folders, composition books, and STEM bins were brightly labeled. They also loved the calendar flip chart because it was the leader's job to change the date daily. Also, eating fruit snacks at recess was a special treat.

These materials have helped support my classroom and it would not be possible without your generosity and kindness!" I am extremely grateful!”

  • Let's Prepare For The New School Year!

    Funded Aug 8, 2022

Thank you for supporting my first-grade classroom! The resources you provided helped me plan exciting lessons from Teachers Pay Teachers. In some of the lessons, the students learned about plants, civics, and their feelings.

The birthday bands were also a big hit! My students loved wearing the bands on their special day and the desk plates on their desks also made them feel special too. I truly appreciate you supporting my classroom with resources that will engage and inspire my students. Thank you again!”

  • Learning is Fun!

    Funded Feb 22, 2022

Thank you for your generosity in supporting me with fun and engaging lessons from Teachers Pay Teachers. The gift card has helped me purchase new resources for my students and it has saved me time because the lessons are provided.

My students learned about rainbows, sound and vibration, light, 2-digit math, Martin

Luthe King, and President's Day. Your gift truly made school a fun place to be with the awesome lessons I could provide my students. As a teacher with limited resources, it is greatly appreciated to receive this gift card.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Viernes

  • Can You See the Vibration?

    Funded Mar 3, 2022

Wow! My student loved this science lesson about vibration. The tuning forks really helped them understand what vibration is because they could actually see it when they hit the fork on the table and dipped it into a cup of water. They kept telling me that this was the best day ever!

Then, we recycled the cups and made a telephone to show how vibration travels. Thank you for providing my students with hands-on materials. because they had so much fun learning all about sound and vibration through play.”

  • Let's Wobble and Learn!

    Funded Mar 31, 2022

When six mystery boxes arrived in my, class my students all wondered what they could be. They screamed with joy when I opened the boxes to reveal six blue wobble chairs. My student couldn't wait to use them!

Every student gets a chance to use the chairs daily in small reading groups and it really helps them work off extra energy because they need to concentrate and balance their bodies while focusing on reading. It's a great option for my students and they love using the chairs throughout the day. Thank you for your continued support!”

  • Learning with STEM Building Toys!

    Funded Dec 15, 2021

Thank you for supporting my class with the 7 Stem Building bins! My students noticed the bins as soon as they walked into the classroom and asked, "Can we play with them now!" They were so excited and couldn't wait to start building! I told them to use their imagination and be creative! Then they had to label their creation on a post-it note so everyone would know what they built. Some of the things my students built were a monster, a control car, 2 giraffes, a castle, a sword, and a carriage. They all agreed that building things together was the best day ever!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Viernes

I work with first-grade students who, as we all know, are not the most aware of keeping their workspace or hands clean! However, due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, it is necessary to ensure that when my students return to school, they are safe and have every advantage possible to learn. I feel it is important for students to still be able to see one another as they learn, and I want them to be able to do this safely. I also have to work with small groups of struggling as well as advanced learners to meet their educational needs and would like for them to be able to clearly see one another and me as we work together. It is incredibly valuable for students to be able to see one another, as well as me the teacher, as they learn in the classroom setting. Sadly, our classroom settings are changing due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. Students are now required to learn with barriers such as face masks and social distancing. I want to ensure my students have a classroom environment where they can still see and learn from one another, even with protective barriers present. Having barriers that are clear and moveable will allow me to meet with small groups, rearrange the classroom safely as needed and keep the students safe while at school. The plexiglass will have holes drilled so they can attach, using zip ties, to the rolling clothes racks. These transparent, portable barriers can be used throughout this school year, and even in future school years if needed. They will provide an additional safety measure to both students and myself.
