I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generous support in providing essential supplies for my classroom. Additionally, the prizes for incentives have made such a positive impact on

    their motivation and engagement.

  • Classroom Supplies

    Funded Jun 22, 2024

Thank you for your generous support! Our class was thrilled to receive new classroom supplies, such as a portable speaker, name tags, prizes, and balls. These items have already made a huge difference in our daily activities.

The portable speaker has been so helpful during our lessons and class activities. The desk tags have helped my students feel a stronger sense of belonging, as each child has a special place in our classroom, and the playground balls have added so much excitement to recess!

Your generosity has made our classroom a better place, and we are so grateful. Thank you for helping us learn and grow in such meaningful ways!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Viernes

  • Express Yourself Through Art

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you for supporting my classroom! My students are very creative and love art. It is a subject that everyone can excel at. We were so excited to use the modeling clay to make a hand jewelry holder for Mother's Day. Then we used acrylic pens and paints to decorate it. My students also used construction paper to make a sun, a big Mother's Day card, and they made different ocean animals they learned about in Science. Thank you for helping to make my classroom a fun place to learn. We appreciate your support!”

  • Year End Activities

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom with fun year-end activities from Teachers-Pay-Teachers. First, my students enjoyed making Mother's Day gifts by using clay to make a copy of their hands and decorating it with acrylic paints. The next activity was making 3-D shapes using toothpicks and marshmallows. The last activity was a unit about ocean animals. We researched and wrote about whales, sharks, dolphins, crabs, and turtles. It was so much fun and a great way to close the school year. They were also grateful to enjoy the different snacks at recess. Thank you again for your kindness and support!”

  • Learning to Work Together Through Play!

    Funded Feb 17, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to "Learning to Work Together Through Play". My students were so excited to receive a big box of new toys. They're having so much fun playing with the big dinosaur puzzle, the kitchen toys, and the toy trucks. It's a great way to encourage self-awareness and build positive relationships with each other.

They also loved the new prizes for our treasure chest which they earned after taking their last big test of the year. The markers came just in time to replace our old ones and I'm using the printer ink to print fun activities.

Your support is amazing and I appreciate you so much!”

    With gratitude,

  • Get Ready to Learn!

    Funded Dec 22, 2023

Thank you for supporting my class with a gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers. I taught a unit about Martin Luther King and each student made a book about everything they learned. Another thing they learned about was Chinese New Year. My students had fun learning how another culture celebrates the New Year and we also had a lion dance perform at our school. Lastly, I purchased a science unit about light. One of the activities they did was to make a flower using tissue paper that taught them about transparent, translucent, and opaque. Having access to Teachers Pay Teacher lessons is engaging and my students can't wait to see what they'll be learning next!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Viernes

  • Storage Solutions

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

Thank you for supporting my classroom this year. The storage containers and organizing trays have made a big impact. Students know where to turn in their completed assignments because I labeled the trays for each subject I teach. Also, using the clear storage containers for STEM has made it easier for my students to choose from because they can see what's inside.

Being organized has helped me set class routines and time can be focused on learning. It's the little things that help me run a smooth classroom. I'm happy and my students are happy too!”

  • Keep it Organized!

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you for supporting my project. My students were so happy to see the plastic trays that will help them stay organized. Each student has been using the trays in their desk to store their crayons, pencils, markers, scissors, erasers, and glue. It's been a great help in preventing their school supplies from falling on the floor and getting lost. My students are learning that staying organized takes a lot of work but in the end, it's worth the time and effort.

I genuinely appreciate your supporting my classroom!”

I work with first-grade students who, as we all know, are not the most aware of keeping their workspace or hands clean! However, due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, it is necessary to ensure that when my students return to school, they are safe and have every advantage possible to learn. I feel it is important for students to still be able to see one another as they learn, and I want them to be able to do this safely. I also have to work with small groups of struggling as well as advanced learners to meet their educational needs and would like for them to be able to clearly see one another and me as we work together. It is incredibly valuable for students to be able to see one another, as well as me the teacher, as they learn in the classroom setting. Sadly, our classroom settings are changing due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. Students are now required to learn with barriers such as face masks and social distancing. I want to ensure my students have a classroom environment where they can still see and learn from one another, even with protective barriers present. Having barriers that are clear and moveable will allow me to meet with small groups, rearrange the classroom safely as needed and keep the students safe while at school. The plexiglass will have holes drilled so they can attach, using zip ties, to the rolling clothes racks. These transparent, portable barriers can be used throughout this school year, and even in future school years if needed. They will provide an additional safety measure to both students and myself.
