Students will get immediate access to reading material even though the school library is closed during the pandemic. Research has proven again and again that the more children read and are exposed to reading opportunities, the better readers they become, further correlating to higher successes in later school years. This project will help our children because the books will get delivered immediately into students' hands. Elementary students are among the most impacted by missing in-person school experience and being able to receive a book from their school librarian could make the difference in their upward trajectory.

About my class
