Classroom Basics
Funded Nov 29, 2022I want to thank you very much for supporting my classroom by contributing to this project. I believe it is important for students to continuously practice penmanship skills, and provide opportunities for students to complete assignments on paper versus using their laptops. All the paper that was able to be purchased through this project has made a significant impact on my classroom. Being the reading, writing, and ELA teacher, I go through the paper very quickly and since this project has been funded, I haven't had to worry about running out of paper. I've learned that many of my students prefer paper versus their laptops so being able to accommodate those individuals has truly helped and I know my students are very grateful. Furthermore, sticky notes have made whole-group instruction more enjoyable and interactive. I believe students should be constantly engaged with the lesson and the sticky notes allow students who are shy to still participate without being stressed. Also, my students enjoy being able to use the sticky notes and they have made lessons more engaging. Once again, I want to thank you for the generous contributions and each item that was able to get purchased has made a positive impact on my students and their learning.”

Funded Oct 10, 2022I want to thank you so much for the generous donations. Every supply that was able to get purchased due to your donation, has been enjoyed by all 45 of my students. I am able to get through lessons without stopping for long periods of time to allow students to share supplies, because now all my student have their own supplies. Furthermore, the Boogie boards have made small group very enjoyable for my students. Students are absolutely loving the Boogie boards, and as the teacher I enjoy how they allow students to continue to practice their penmanship. From the bottom of our Pye blue hearts, my students and I want to thank you.”

Fun Times in 4th Grade!
Funded May 5, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. As an educator what is important to me is making learning fun for my students, and everything donated to my classroom is being used to make learning fun. I am so incredibly thankful for the play dough, the cones, the bean bags and everything else donated, because it has allowed me to create activities that make learning fun and engaging for my students. My students have been loving all the new activities we have been doing in the classroom, and it makes me so happy to hear my students say "Ms. Willis can we do that activity again, it was really fun". The donations have made a huge impact in my classroom and have made a huge impact on my students learning and I can't thank you enough.”

Funded Oct 22, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation to my fourth grade classroom. The styluses have made a huge difference in my classroom, and have allowed me to provide a wide variety of activities for my students to complete on their laptops. The styluses allow students to have more control when drawing and writing which has been a huge help. Prior to the styluses, students would have to use their fingers or use the mouse on their laptop and it caused students to take longer to complete activities. Not only have the styluses made a huge impact but the extension cord has as well. While technology is great to have in the classroom, because we use it so much a lot of my students by the middle of the day have to charge their laptops. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough outlets to let every students charge their laptop when needed. Since receiving the extension cord it has allowed more students to charge their laptops when needed and they can continue working on their laptops. Both the styluses and the extension cord have made a difference in my classroom and both my students and myself want to thank you for donation.”

First Year Teacher Classroom Supplies
Funded Oct 23, 2020Thank you so much for donating to my classroom, every donation has made a huge impact. When I created my first donors choose project, little did I know I would be so fortunate to get funded. My students have absolutely loved everything. With the new resources, I have been able to make learning more fun in the classroom. With the clipboards, my students are able to work where they would like to in comfort. We also have been doing a lot of activities that allow students to get up from their seats and walk around the room, and because of the clipboards, it has allowed students to write comfortably. I currently work at a title I school where not all my students can afford materials, being able to provide materials like the scissors and pencils to my students has made them so happy and I know they are grateful. The paper clips have helped a lot of my students with organization and they can now easily find important papers. The anchor chart paper as allowed me to provide visual representation to my students on what we are learning the classroom. The anchor chart paper has also allowed my students to create posters over what we have been learning, that then get hung in the hallways, which they love! Once again, I want to thank you so much for your donations and both my students and I are very grateful!”
