Thank you so much for your interest in my classroom project! Your donation will help me provide basic and multi-sensory classroom materials for my students as well as create a warm and welcoming classroom environment. For many children who struggle with reading proficiently, multi-sensory lessons help make learning "stick." Teaching phonics with materials such as Play-Doh, sand, or crayons provides students with alternate means of expression. The best part is that the more ways they are able to express their learning, the more likely they are to retain the necessary knowledge and skills to make it back to grade level! Beyond providing multi-sensory lessons, it's important to me that my students return to a well-organized classroom that is optimized for instructional efficiency. Your donation will help color-code and decorate my classroom so that my students walk into a warm environment filled with everything they need. Each student will have a reusable (and sanitizable) basket filled with their materials for the lesson (crayons, play-doh, markers, pencils, sight words, worksheets, etc.) waiting for them as they walk in the door! Thanks to you, all my sweet little babies will have to do is grab their basket and follow the colors to the right location in the room to begin their learning!
