The King of Kindergarten

Funded Jul 2, 2024Thank you for the contribution to my new Kindergarten classroom. We are off to a great start with all of the materials you were able to provide to us. From the chart paper to the stackable crayon boxes, the book shelf to the zipper pouches. Each student feels like they have a sense of ownership with these new items. Thank you for the playdough accessories, whiteboard magnets, books, pointer, and number stickers. This is the way I can identify and label each student's materials around the classroom. This donation provided all the necessary things for Kindergarten to begin this school year. My students and I are so grateful for donating to our classroom in Clearwater, Florida. Especially after these hurricanes we are grateful and thankful.”

Sensory Bins
Funded Mar 13, 2024Thank you for this donation. My students are forever grateful for the sensory bins to learn through play. They are learning to share, take turns, and use their imagination in Kindergarten. They are thankful for all of the supplies in addition to the sensory bins such as a classroom doorbell, Velcro dots, line spots, and crayon boxes. We are able to teach my students how to be grateful for donations thanks to you! We are so glad you were able to contribute to our classroom here in Florida. Thank you again and remember the impact you have made in education!”

Funded May 2, 2023Thank you for providing these materials for my students. They are forever grateful for your love and support. The ice cream sensory bin is a huge hit. Immediately when they see it they say, "ooh", "look at that, I can make ice cream", "it's so soft". They enjoy "making ice cream" for each other, me, and themselves.
The math number racks are a great tool that we use in math to help add and subtract numbers within 5, 10, and 20. My first graders are learning how to make this tool an essential part of their math toolbox. They appreciate this especially since they don't have 20 fingers.
The sight word game is also a fun one! Students don't always love learning sight words because you have to know them by sight. However, with the pop-it's, the students believe this to be a great way to learn them in game form. I have adapted it to all grade levels as well so some students are working on letter sounds while others have to read a full sentence. So thank you for believing in us and funding this project! YOU are growing learners and leaders.”

Sensory Items
Funded Apr 1, 2023My students use this sand daily. They are using it to build their find motor skills and develop their social emotional learning through play. They love the way it feels and enjoy building castles.
The counting cones are also a big hit for my Kindergarten and First Grade students. They enjoy building the cones developing their number recognition skills through errorless learning. They can use this by themselves or with a partner.
When they see the sand, their eyes immediately light up and they say, "ooh", "so soft", "look what I can do." They are proud of themselves when they are building. This is also a great way to help them calm down after they are frustrated with something.”
