Our 1st grade students are coming back to school for the first time since Kindergarten last year, and my most important task is for school to still be exciting, fun, and engaging. They need materials that they can keep at their space to making word building fun, floor pillows so they can make a different seating choice throughout the day (instead of sitting in their chair all day), and make social distance requirements fun and easy with colorful placement mats. This will make movements easier throughout the day, as well as provide some safety requirements easier to follow for 6 and 7 year olds.
