These books will not only help my students fall in love with reading, but also embrace who they are and where they come from. My students are typically struggling readers, and they can only get become better readers by actually wanting to read what is in front of them. Most classrooms only have the textbook to choose from, which are found to be intimidating and boring to students. I want them to see themselves in these stories and feel understood, and inspired by these books. The teacher to student ratio 36 students in a classroom sometimes, that is why I am asking for 40 of each of these. Thank you!
