The use of flexible seating in classrooms is a great way for students to be able to make choices about what works best for them. Many students have difficulty when completing various activities due to being uncomfortable in chairs or their bodies needing to move while trying to complete a task. Flexible seating allows students to get the input their body is looking for while staying seated and on task. By donating these flexible seating options to our classroom, my students will make good choices, be more engaged in their learning, and will be able to complete tasks when seated. The wobble stools and chairs allow for some movement when they are sitting, the rubber bands will allow them to swing their legs while not kicking other students around them, which can be extremely beneficial for them.

About my class
