When Covid-19 closed our campus on March 13, I had only an ancient, school-district-issued Dell laptop from which to conduct remote math and science lessons. Until school ended on June 10, I struggled with that old laptop to Zoom 3 hours daily with my 30 homeroom students and 2 hours weekly with my additional science groups (90 kids total). It was painful! Despite the limitations of having only obsolete equipment, I still managed to create my own YouTube channel and used Google Classroom, FlipGrid, Kahoots, and Quizlet to reach ALL of my students (nobody was left behind). With updated and efficient technology tools (iPad Pro and Apple Pencil), I can direct our math and science lessons much more effectively when we return to school on August 26.
