  • Keep on Writing!

    Funded Mar 29, 2025

Thank you for your generous donation to “Keep on Writing “. My students absolutely love using the LCD writing boards, and I love to see them actually writing and holding a writing utensil since they really need more fine motor skills. I am so happy that I will once again be able to send my students home with a board of their own to keep the love of writing going as they enter kindergarten.

Thank you again for your donation.”

  • Making Fridays Smooth

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to "Making Fridays Smooth ".Our Fridays have been so exciting since we received our Ninja blender for our smoothies. We started with the strawberry banana that they were use to, but recently we started getting frozen peach cups. The look on their faces to have a new flavor was great. Then during letter K week we mixed up kiwi strawberry and that has been their favorite. Although we have had a couple Fridays off due to inclement weather and scheduled days off they are very excited to get their smoothie this coming Friday. Wonder what flavor we should try this week.

Thank you again for your generous donation.”

  • Colorful Explosions of Science!

    Funded Jan 30, 2025

Thank you for your donation to “Colorful explosions of Science!” I am so excited to have the materials to have some fun with my students. This is coming just in time for our simple machines unit as well as letters V and R for volcanoes and Rainbows. These materials will allow a wide range of color experiments. The baking soda will allow for many batches of slime and volcano eruptions.

Thank you again for your generous donation.”

  • Prepping for a Great Year!

    Funded Aug 21, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to "Prepping for a great year". The amount of materials needed to start the year off great can be a lot. I am very grateful and thankful for the materials I received to help with that. It was amazing to be able to print colored pictures of my students for several different activities. My favorite is friend bingo as we start learning friends name.

Being able to have take home folders ready for communication with families is very important and the folders are perfect and holds newsletters and projects perfectly. And the scissors help so all the students can do their work at the same time. I definitely helps keep everything flowing smoothly. Thank you again for helping me start the new school year off with some great materials.”

  • Bright Possibilities!

    Funded Jun 21, 2024

Thank you for your donation to "Bright Possibilities!" Markers are always something we can never have enough of. My students enjoy coloring and creating everyday. Although we often remind them to make sure the cap is on we usually loose a few monthly. It's nice to have some extras to get us through the year.

We have been able to start expanding the materials in the art area. While every day we have students drawing amazing pictures it was nice to pull out the new tempra paint sticks when the students wanted to make pictures for the construction crew currently working on our building. The bright colors made it easier for them to see the great artwork and the students love all the colors.

Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Building More Than Buildings!

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you for your donation to "Building more than Buildings." There are a lot of toys that the students enjoy playing with but having some that help strengthen their small muscles are essential. Duplo Legos are one of my favorites. When I realized how much my students loved to build I was shocked that my new classroom did not have these. Thank you for making sure these classroom favorites happened for my new classroom.

The excitement of something new was exciting to see on my students faces. They did a good job sharing and waiting their turn. These made the year end fun.

The students voted for these to be a station for our end of the year celebration with parents. It was nice to see the parents watching, interacting and encouraging their child.

    Thank you again.”

  • Let’s Keep Painting!

    Funded Apr 25, 2024

Thank you for your donation to "Let's Keep Painting." My classroom this year definitely loved art. I had some very artistic students that were very specific about what they needed. With these supplies I was able to make sure they had the colors they needed.

The paint sticks we received as the replacement for the paint was a pleasant surprise. The students enjoyed all the colors and the fact the paint dries right away so they were able to take their artwork home the same day. These became the new favorite item and as a teacher I really enjoyed them too.

    Thank you again.”

  • Summer Fun!

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you for your donation to "Summer Fun!" Every year I enjoy sending my students home with fun items for the summer. Thank you for helping me do this. With the sidewalk chalk, and play dough to help with their fine motor skills, the sunglasses and cups to help keep them safe and cool, I also included LCD writing tablets and bubbles. I took the time to personalize their cups and tablets as well as a drawstring bag to keep all their things together. The students and parents enjoyed all their goodies.

As we ended the year with home visits it was fun to walk up to the houses and see all the artwork outside from the sidewalk chalk. It makes me happy to know the children enjoyed and appreciated their end of the year gifts. Thank you again,”

  • More than Water and Sand!

    Funded Apr 7, 2024

Thank you for your donations to "More than Sand and Water." With sensory input being a big need recently it is difficult to alway keep the sensory table fun and exciting.

This fun and colorful Kidfetti is amazing. The students have been loving it. Often times you can find a teacher enjoying it as well.

As the original water beads were not available I needed to make a replacement. With stay with the theme of sensory I order some small bags of colored rice that the parents were interested in and sent them home with a few of my students that are frequently looking for sensory input.

Thank you once again for your donation, it is greatly appreciated.”

  • Keep on Writing!

    Funded Jan 30, 2024

Thank you for your donation to "Keep on Writing. My students love using these LCD writing tablets and I am so excited to once again be able to send one home for them to continue to KEEP ON WRITING!

We use the boards a couple time a week and they love it. They like the different colors that show up and it's easy to start over, and the size is perfect.

Now that the weather is finally warming up we have also enjoyed the bubbles. Each child will receive bubbles, sunglasses, sidewalk chalk, play dough, a personalized cup and bag along with their tablet for the summer to help them have a fun break before kindergarten.

Thanks again for your donation. It is greatly appreciated.”

I plan to take tri-fold presentation boards and add the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes for each student. I would like for them to be able to touch the alphabet as they sing the song, find the current letter, number, shape, and color as we talk about it on zoom meetings. To have their own learning boards at home will help with the connection of seeing one on videos or zoom meetings. Preschool students are hands-on, interactive learners. They need to do more than sit and listen. If they can interact they stay focused longer.
