  • Books About Children With Visual Impairments

    These books and materials have been AMAZING to share with my students! I have passed out several books out to their general education teachers to share with their class. My students were so excited to tell me that they read a book about braille or with a character who also uses a white cane!

    I have also been able to record myself reading a couple of the books to upload to our preschool's story time videos for the month of February and March. I know my littles will excited to listen to a book about a character who is also learning braille.

    When I read Louie Braille's picture biography to one of my students he was very interested to learn how it was invented. His mom told me he went home and told her all about it.

    Thank you so much for the impact you have made on my students. I am so excited to have this library of books to continue to share and adapt with braille as they grow older.”
