Funded Mar 25, 2022The students were amazed to use the notebooks. The children were able to write their names on the notebook. After reading a story, the students create their artwork with written words to finish classwork. They were happy to use the materials in the classroom. The rhyming books were fantastic. The students use a blank worksheet to write all the rhyming words from the book. The students flip, write and sound out the words. The picture could help to say the verbal expression and spell each word. We thank you so much for all your help in making my classroom successful.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Optimum.New Vision Into A Kindergarten Classroom!
Funded Jul 23, 2021The students in my classroom are very observant. I walk in the closet to get the simple addition board game and the beginning sound sort game. The students automatically said, " Are you going to call me for a small group to play the game? The students were engaged and enjoyed the game. One student ( teacher assistant) said, " I will stand next to you just in case they need my support." I was bursting inside and smiling. A Class community is significant to our classroom. We are a community that supports each other in our learning. We are thankful to have hands-on games to increase our knowledge and skills in all academic subjects. We can't say thank you enough for your support.”

A Fresh New Start for Kindergartens
Funded May 4, 2021My Kindergarten students are happy to walk over to the Math Center to play with the manipulatives. Each student can count, sort, and one-to-one correspondence using the ice cream cones with scoops. The student is to create their flavors of ice cream by looking at the color of the scoop. The students use the number match to connect the number objects to the number. Due to COVID restriction, I am to sanitize the toys and let the next small group play with the manipulative. We are thankful for your contribution, and the students are getting the best experience ever.”

This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Drive-In and 9 other donors. The Future Leaders of America
Funded Feb 16, 2021I am excited to let you know that the children were excited to get the materials in a large Ziploc bag. Unfortunately, I can't take pictures of the children with the bags. The first day when I receive the material donations. I was very excited myself. I brought some large Ziploc bags and gave each student enough material to use in all their subject areas. I am excited to let you know that we are returning to school on April 12, 2021. The children who are going in person in the building will have their materials ready for usage. The children who are working virtual receive their bags already. When I tell you, the children use their markers, crayons, pencils to create their visuals. It is amazing to see the children using their supplies. They were smiling when I show the children on Webex. The next step for my students on a current classroom lesson is becoming prepared for class and virtual. The children will use their supplies to help them succeed in the classroom until the end of the school year. Once again, I am grateful for all your help to work with my Kindergarten to have a learning mindset in the classroom.”
