This easel will help my students stay focused on a lesson. Currently, my materials(whiteboard, circle time carpet, and books) are not able to be put close together. With this easel, I will be able to keep everything I need for a mini-lesson in one place. It will make transitions much smoother and quicker. Students will be able to stay focused, because everything will be conveniently located in the same place. Therefore, giving me more instructional time! In the circumstance where we have to go back to teaching remotely full time, I will be able to take the easel home and use it to teach my students online. At home, I do not have a whiteboard to teach from. This will be very beneficial to help give my students a balanced and rigorous education that they deserve.
