I have been teaching for 20 years as of this coming year and the whole time I had purchased my own teacher desk, my own bulletin board paper and borders and Bulletin board sets (among other things). My desk finally gave up the ghost and I am in need of a place to sit to grade papers. I tried to pick a very simple desk. It was also very costly each year to replace bulletin board sets and paper, so over the years I was unable to replace many of these things that make our classroom look attractive. All of these supplies are showing their age...20 years is a long time for paper! :) Students spend the majority of their day in the classroom and it becomes like a second home. I like for their "home" to look inviting! Therefore, after 20 years of the same decor, I am trying to update my classroom to be able to better display their work and make their "home" look inviting. My purpose is two fold in that I also think it is important after this whole COVID issue to "throw out the old" overused ripped and torn supplies and "bring in the new" and germ free! :) I would love your support and donations to help me make this possible. Storage has also been a problem and there are a few items that I have chosen to help streamline storage and organization in my classroom to enable it to run more efficiently.
