COVID-19 has forced us to restructure our lives. With this type of restructuring, we had to change the way we learn and interact with each other. Many students attend school virtually, while others receive face to face instructions. Making it difficult for social and emotional interaction. However, with the right resources, we can do virtually anything. As a student, literacy is a critical component of the developmental process. Therefore, the use of the document camera, surge protector, masks, and sanitizer will support and enhance virtual learning. Eliminating deficits caused by the recent pandemic. As mentioned above, these resources will be a great asset to my classroom learning environment. Enhancing my instruction and engaging students. The document camera will be a very beneficial resource because it allows the teacher to project printed text digitally. Through this process, the students will learn how to read, write, and annotate passages. Because the students spend countless hours virtually, the surge protector (power strip) will allow students to continue to work while charging their devices. Keeping them worry-free and prepared for class! Safety is always a priority, so masks and hand sanitizer will help prevent the spread of the virus. In closing, virtual learning is a new experience for everyone. The transition has not been easy, but with the use of these resources, we can do virtually anything. My students have demonstrated great interest in reading and writing. As their instructor, I want to continue to provide them with an educational experience worth consuming. An experience that will lead them to be productive individuals beyond high school! Thank you
