My project is a request for art materials (paper, crayons, and markers) so that my students are not left out when it comes time for personal creations representing themselves. A student shouldn't have to use a substitute color because the tones are not included in a traditional package that can be easily purchased in a store. These items will allow all students to be included equally.
I have also requested a diverse set of small figures that represent multiple people so that students can play and learn with others, with toys that look just like them!
I would also like to be able to purchase lessons and materials to enhance and support my curriculum and instruction with a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers. I have also selected a set of diverse picture books that have exceptional art and use inventive storytelling - brimming with humor and history, magic and imagination.
