I have been using a lot of apps and websites to help grab my student's attention. This project will provide me a laptop that can handle all the apps and websites I use. I will also allow me to improve my instruction and more efficiently collect data. Some of the technology I have been using is anything Google, Quizzes, Edpuzzle, Flipgrid, and Gimkit. I love Gimkit because I can use it to see how my students are comprehending my lessons at the same time that they get to play a game against their classmates. I have also been using Photoshop and illustrator to create better graphics (especially for my bitmoji classroom and the Google Site I am creating for my parents. The Surface laptop will allow to me improve my instruction. The Surface laptop's ability to write on the screen with a stylus will allow me to give a running record digitally (which would also save me time). Our school is also doing Project GLAD. I love the strategies of Project GLAD. Unfortunately, you were asked to make a lot of charts ( made more for when students were physically in class). I would be able to create the PIC's and GOIC's using the Surface's unique abilities to annotate with the stylus and create videos of my lessons which I could then post on my Google Classroom. Having this Surface laptop would also allow me to run my robotics software (when we eventually return to class) and coding for the drones as well.
