Reading is hands down the most important skill I teach in Kindergarten. Making reading fun and engaging sets my students up for success! I have always wanted a cozy reading nook in my classroom, a focal point of the room, where students would look forward to reading quietly, with a buddy or a stuffed friend! The books we love would be prominently displayed and within easy reach for my little learners. There would be comfy seating choices and tools such as reading glasses and pointers to add to the fun! It is impossible to overemphasize what a dream this inviting learning space would be for my Kindergarten students and me. Thank you so much for considering our project!
