  • Oh! The ways we can learn math!

    The materials I received for my classroom has helped tremendously. I have used them for both my 2nd grade math class and my 4th and 5th grade math classes. The snap blocks have been used for counting, adding and subtracting. I have also made use of the coins and dollars for my 2nd graders to learn how to count money. Without the help of your donations to my donors choose account I would not have had these materials for my classroom. I am looking forward to using the materials I received to help my students when we start our unit on lines and angles. I know the students will enjoy using them and it will enhance their learning. Using hands on materials like math manipulatives helps students grasp math concepts. In 4th grade students work with fractions, being able to see and feel how fractions equal out will increase and concrete their learning of fractions. The manipulatives I’ve chosen will increase math skills for the students in my classroom. My students need visuals and hands on materials to increase their learning, these materials will help my students visually see and make connections with the math we will be learning this year. Thank you so much for your help!
