  • Playing and Activating Our Senses: Growing Kinder Engineers

    You help expand areas of exploration for my students. The excitement they had when they saw the new materials in the classroom is inexplicable, they learned to use them well and take care of them. The sand table was a great tool to help fine motor development and also through play the students learned to share and take turns. The emotion dolls were a helpful tool in our regulation zone where each student felt identified in talking about their emotions and self-regulating. The different geometric shapes have been very effective for reviews, students constantly use them to classify and the comfortable sofa made my students have a more fun reading time, whether individually or reading with a partner.”

In my class every morning after breakfast, each student practices writing words and sentences according to the letter of the day. Whiteboards will prevent us from overusing paper and photocopies. They will help us in our small group writing practice. They will come in handy in math projects and any project that needs writing or drawing is a multitude of learning uses that students will give and the plastic boxes will help us keep each child's materials organized and they will know where to find their work materials every day. .

About my class
