During the COVID pandemic, my students did not make as much growth in their reading fluency and comprehension as they typically do during a school year. This year, they need extra time to practice and develop their skills so they have a chance to catch up. These headphones with microphones will allow my students to use some amazing reading programs on their Chromebooks while other students are working with me in small groups. Specifically, they will be able to practice the College and Career Readiness Anchor Standard #10 which is to read and comprehend complex literary and informational texts independently and proficiently.

About my class
