Every year I have students who are not able to purchase supplies or transfer schools without supplies. I always try to have extra supplies on hand to help these students be prepared and ready to hit the ground running on their first day!
These items would mean so much to the families who are unable to purchase school supplies. The donations will give students a chance to have the materials they need to complete assignments at home as well as in the classroom.
These donations will be one less worry for my students. Students will arrive to school with confidence and be prepared for school. My students will be able to use their folders as daily homework folders, behavior trackers, test folders and "keepsakes". Students will use their composition notebooks for science journaling. Students will be able record their observations and draw their findings in their science journals. Even though it may seem simple to some, these basic supplies are essential for my students. Basic school supplies can make a difference in a student's learning experience.
