My students love to express themselves in full color. We would love an Artist Area of our classroom where the children have everything they need to explore color, form, space, shape, texture, and value. In our Kindergarten classroom we learn the names of all of the colors, explore art history, and learn about famous artists from around the world. Now I would like to give them the chance to let their imaginations come alive as they create their own masterpieces! With your help, our Artist Area will give children the opportunity to explore and refine their fine motor skills and make creative decisions while they create beautiful paintings to grace their classroom, school, homes, and communities. They will be able to choose which materials and mediums they would like to work with and draw their inspiration from our Artist of the Month.
