My students need visuals to help them make connections. Junior high content is tough- especially with science & social studies, let alone when English isn’t your first language! My students learn in a self-contained class setting and benefit greatly when things are modified to their reading level. EVERYONE benefits when they have visual, hands on items to help them make connections. Help me allow my students to have a curriculum presentation which gives them more than a memorization task and empowers them to believe they can master this content when given the proper supports!
