I am so grateful for the chance to give my students nourishment to thrive and learn on. My students know that they can count on me if they are hungry or having a difficult time. This helps me build rapport and become a safe space for my kids.
Being in a title 1 school, over 50% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. This means half of our student population, at least, may not know if they have adequate food in their home from day to day. Providing healthy and consistent snacks for my students is so important to me, and I am so grateful that there are people out there to help me accomplish this. Thank you again!”
I am so grateful for the funding to use IXL with my students. I have used it in the past, so I was sad that I couldn't use it this year, as it's very expensive to pay for out of pocket. I was worried I couldn't get it funded, and I was ecstatic when I found out that it did.
Since I work in special education, having adaptive lessons for my students is essential. Everyone is at a different level, even being in a similarly grouped class, so catering to each individual's deficit is priceless. We use IXL every week and it is so nice knowing they can access this level of customized education. I am so grateful.”

I can't thank you enough for the gift of this flexible seating in my classroom. My students thought it was too good to be true, and didn't believe me until it was sitting in my classroom! The students love to see who is randomly selected that day to have the privilege to sit in the chair.
It is a safe, calming place to relax in my classroom. Students will often ask to sit there and are also often more successful working there. It is a comfortable cocoon of sorts and I'd be lying if I said I don't sit in it some days, haha.
Truly I am so grateful for this opportunity and I'm excited to offer it to students for years to come!”

Thank you so much for donating to my Tools for Success project. It was a comfort to know that I had some extra tools in my belt for my first year in middle school. Being new to teaching at a middle school, I was worried about what was in store, especially being at a Title 1 school where students are lacking important resources and skills sets.
Having engaging material and snacks to feed my students has made a big difference and it shows in my kids everyday. Whether it's playing charades, checkers, or knowing they don't have to go hungry, all my students have benefited from this project.
I couldn't have done this without you and I am so happy that this was possible.”
Thank you so much for your donations to support my students and their particular interests. Countless times my students have been so excited this year to earn a prize and make better choices, because of donors like you. I couldn't have accomplished this without you and I am endlessly grateful.
My students struggle with emotional/behavioral regulation, and they come to a room like mine because of this. Students such as these sometimes fail to see the point of making good choices, or have been the "bad kid" so long they don't know how. Motivating them with specific "cool" prizes can be what puts them on the right path.”

I am so endlessly grateful for the books that have been supplied to my classroom and my students. Students who were not doing independent reading before are interested and engaged in these books. I can also use these books to talk about feelings through modeling them in stories. The nonfiction texts also provide interesting knowledge on specific topics for students who may not be interested otherwise. The graphic novels have also provided an interesting perspective on reading for my students who struggle with print heavy books.
This was such a great opportunity for me and my students and it is a gift that will keep on giving for years to come.”
The flexible seating and academic materials I received made a huge impact for my students! It was great to see them excited about the new additions in the classroom. It is also awesome for them to have comfy spaces to go and regulate!
The academic materials allow me to "spice up" their day and engage them in important skills. I also got to get new workbooks that are filled with simple activities that can help them calm down while also still complying with instructions. These are things that I could not have afforded without your support!
The lap desks I was able to buy with the funding have provided flexible seating in a portable and easy to use device! Now my students can work anywhere in the room without having to move their desks. It is a nice way to give students the movement and choice they need to succeed.”

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because having a classroom where you feel at home makes a difference. When the students feel at home and cared about, they are most invested in their classroom and their learning. Students with difficulties sitting still can also benefit from bouncing in place on balls and wobbling on chairs. Additionally, having the ability to change your environment to work in can be refreshing and give a whole new perspective. Help my students feel invested in their learning and donate today! Simple things like places to sit can make a world of difference.
