We have had a tough couple of years in education. Teaching kinder kids online was a special kind of adventure, so I am happy that we are able to be back in person! I understand the importance of kinder education, and how it sets up the students for the rest of their lives. Even more so after a pandemic, I want to offer my students and families the supplies that they will need in order to have a successful year! The supplies in this project are instrumental in helping my kinders and their families get on track, after being derailed due to the pandemic. I have several books in this project to help teach them vocabulary about emotions, and how to identify them. At our school we have uniform requirements, which can pose problems to families that are financially recovering from the pandemic. There are several uniform items of all different sizes to support my classroom, as well as support the uniform exchange we will be starting. The food items in this project will be going home with the students as a way to help with any financial hardship the families may be facing in the aftermath of the pandemic. I included headphones so each student will be able to use them while we utilize our online programs, being able to concentrate on their own device rather than hearing the sounds from their classmates as well. The glue sticks, paper, and Lysol wipes will help keep our classroom well stocked on things we go through quickly! I am so grateful to be able to support my students in ways beyond the classroom, especially since we have had a tough couple years! Thank you for supporting our classroom.
