  • Let's Move On Up!

    Funded May 30, 2024

I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your incredible support of our preschool students through this project. Your contribution made a difference in helping us create a memorable and meaningful moving-up ceremony for our young explorers. The decorations, music, and goodie bag items you provided enhanced the celebration and served as a lasting reminder of their achievements throughout the school year. Thanks to your generosity, we can give our students the special recognition they deserve as they transition to the next exciting chapter in their education.

Your kindness has had a profound impact on our classroom community, and we are so grateful for your belief in the importance of celebrating each child's accomplishments. Our students have worked hard and grown so much, and this ceremony will be a beautiful way to honor their journey. Thank you for making this celebration possible and for being a part of our students' success. Your support will be remembered and appreciated for years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chris

  • Let's Create A Warm Classroom: First 6 Weeks Of School

    Funded Oct 10, 2023

Thank you all for your Kind Donations! Because of you my students were able to enjoy and thrive in a warm and cozy classroom environment. When our students saw new materials in our classroom they became very excited. The hut in the cozy corner was a huge success! Throughout the day our students take breaks and practice mindfulness in the cozy corner. They also read books and take sensory breaks with their peers.

Adding a new rug to our morning meeting area made the space warmer, comfortable, and vibrant for our students. It also provided out students with a learning space on the floor. Thank you all for all for your donations, our students truly appreciate it!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Chris

  • We're Moving Up: This Is Just the Beginning

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations! Our Moving Up Ceremony for the 2022-2023 school year would have not been successful without your support. Our students and their grownups enjoyed their end-of-the-year celebration. They loved the nature theme and the decorations that were displayed in our school's auditorium. We will hold this day in our hearts and memories forever because of people like YOU! Thank you not only for your continuous support but for taking the time to search and find my proposal to fund it.

Thank You For Making This Day Magical!”

  • Help Us Build Our Light Center And Cozy Corner!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

THANK YOU for your generous donations and willingness to give. The light table has brought so many smiles and extensive learning to our students. I have introduced the materials that you have donated to our light center on a monthly basis and the impact has been nothing but rewarding. One student said, "Ms.Chris this is the best center ever."

The light center has encouraged our students to explore and learn about animal and human x-rays. They also manipulate translucent cubes, and learn about patterns under the light! This center has been a wonderful addition to our classroom and it is all because of you all.

Thank You From The Bottom Of MY HEART!”

Thank you all for your commitment to education and making this possible.

Without you, I could never be as successful as I am. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart.”

  • Building a Diverse Library, One Book at a Time

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you for your generous donation! Because of you, our young learners can see themselves in our new and diverse classroom library. The books will support our young learners by providing them with stories that talk about different abilities, cultures, beliefs, and skin colors. Our students will have access to stories with illustrations of children and families that represent them. They will be able to make personal connections and with their own cultural identities and hopefully develop important positive insights about others. Thank You for support and all of your contributions. It means the world to our young learners.”

  • It's Never Too Young to Learn About Diversity and Inclusion

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thank you for donating these amazing books to our classroom. These books allowed me to support my students' learning and extend their understanding of diversity and inclusion in their community. With your donation, I was able to supply my students with books for them to explore during social-emotional learning. While exploring these books, our students have been motivated to share their own experiences and build self-esteem. The students often relate themselves to the characters and love the illustrations in these books. The book's beautiful messages and the stories are vivid just like our 3-K students.

Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!!"”

  • 3-K Student's, Let's Get Ready Explore!

    Funded Jun 27, 2020

We don't even know where to start!

We don't even think a "Thank You" is big enough to show our appreciation for your generosity and kindness towards our "3-K Let's Get Ready To Explore Project" With this Canon camera I was able to record educational lessons that supported my students hands on learning experiences and educational needs.

I was able to record( I'm still recording on a daily basis) subitizing and sorting math lessons. Read- alouds, lessons on social issues such as racism, identity, and much more. These videos has not only helped my students but also their families. I have made instructional videos on educational concepts to ease their anxiety and help them with homeschooling at home.

My in person and remote students have all benefited tremendously from this donation. Their families and I can't be anymore grateful! Despite of all the ongoing uncertainties due to Covid-19 my students are still learning and thriving! "Let's Go Donors Choose".

Thank you for your kind and generous donations and allowing us to continue to explore differently! We are very appreciative!!"”

My 3-K early childhood education program is a Title 1 school located in Harlem. 90% of my students receive free lunch and are English Language Learners. My 3-K students learn through hands-on experiences and social interactions with their peers and teachers. Due to COVID 19, these learning experiences were no longer an option and I was forced to look for creative and engaging ways to interact with my students remotely. My students and I participate three times a week in Zoom meetings. We do our unit of study and check in with each other. To record the read-aloud, math, science, and interactive lessons, I use my personal cell phone. Having a camera would help me record my lessons so that my students and their families can learn the concept that is being taught. Being able to record these educational videos would also help my students and families that are English Language Learners. If I was to have a camera, I would also be able to record these lessons in both English and Spanish. My students and their families also depend on the recorded lesson’s so they learn and model the units of study at home. Unfortunately, my cell phone overheats and doesn't have the capability to record several videos at a time. With this camera, I would be able to allow my students to have some social engagements with me while remote learning in a fun and interactive way this upcoming September.
