  • Mic Up the Drama Club1

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

It is with tremendous gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to my donors for your kindness and generosity to give towards my project "Mic Up the Drama Club" Our drama club did a little 10 minute play and the micorphones were great. The audience was able to hear each character in the show and the students were able to perform and be clearly heard. Theatre helps students build relationships, teaches them discipline, and it inspires them to be who they want to be.

Again, thank you for your donation and continued support for education. Our students enjoy every bit of use they get from each resource donated. The resources are a constant reminder of peoples love, generosity, and compassion for education. Thank for being so generous and allowing our classroom to be a recipient of such kindness."”

  • Help We Need a Sensory Table!

    Funded Nov 29, 2021

I can't say enough for your donation to my project. My students love the sand table. They love to explore the sand and other activities I put in the table. A sand and water table is an essential component of any early childhood classroom as this kind of sensory play can develop a variety of skills. Sand and water play helps students build both fine and gross motor skills while also developing cooperation and social skills. Students will be able to explore science concepts such as sink or float, forces and motion, and properties of matter. Math concepts involved in sensory play include counting, measurement, and volume. With the incorporation of some specialized toys we can also work on literacy skills such as letter identification and word building- all while learning through play! Thank you again for donating.”

  • Aspiring Readers Need Fun Games!

    Funded Aug 19, 2021

We are just thrilled to finally be back to brick and mortar school this school year and my little darlings were more than ready to start kindergarten so they could learn to read! Thank you so much for helping them reach that goal!

There is so much for a kindergarten student to learn before they are able to read independently! The early days of kindergarten are spent establishing early literacy skills such as learning the front and back cover of a book, turning the pages correctly, reading left to right, top to bottom, and learning that words are made up of letters and understanding that printed words have meaning. Once the students have these basic literacy foundational skills in place, they are ready to use those skills to learn to read simple books with repetitive text, familiar sight words, and fun and engaging stories. The games that I received through your generous donations have all of these things that students need to start reading! Most of my students are now readers and love the games because they can work on them independently.”

  • We Need Books for Distance Learning Material

    Funded Mar 15, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to my project. These books will get into the hands of many students who have nothing at home. We are creating a library for them to read. Students can use the characters in these books to better understand their own feelings and emotions. This has been an unbelievably difficult year for teachers and students alike, and one that I will never forget. I want my students to continue to foster their love of learning throughout the summer, and continue to grow even when they aren't at school.

I want to give my students books to continue developing their literacy skills. These books are entertaining beginning readers with many of the sight words we have gone over this school year, and I am hoping my students will enjoy reading again and again over the summer. My goal is to inspire these students to create an even better and brighter future.”

  • We Need a New Printer!

    Funded Dec 31, 2020

Thank you your awesome donation. It will help our school with their reading and math skills. It will also increase engagement. With your help, I will provide my students with the right support, resources, opportunities, and tools to enhance their learning experiences. Print notes for parents and other resources for students to practice at home and at school.

Our students are just beginning to use the classroom printer. They will continue to see the benefits of being able to transfer their digital work into printed format as the year goes on. I am excited to see what creativity and projects are able to be accomplished because of this addition to our school. Again, it wouldn't have been possible without your donation. Thank you!”

  • Help to Stay 6ft Apart

    Funded Oct 9, 2020

Thank you your awesome donation. My students will love to use this individually during centers. It will help them with their reading and math skills. It will also increase engagement. With your help, I will provide my students with the right support, resources, opportunities, and tools to enhance their learning experiences during this pandemic. Their favorite ways to learn are through hands-on activities, games, and projects in which their voices can be heard. Each week, I look at what skills my students need help to practice. I then research and create new games to practice these skills. We use these "learning centers" to practice everything from developmental & social skills to reading to math. The students love "centers", your donation has helped them learn to become better learners.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fagan

This year due to Covid-19, each student will need individual station materials. In order to accomplish this, I will need a few supplies. The trays will help them be 6ft apart and the centers will be done individually. I would love for my students to still have hands-on fun learning experiences. Back to school this year is going to look different than before. I will be teaching students in the classroom and online simultaneously throughout the day.It is important to have materials and activities that will benefit students in the classroom and online. I would love for all of my students to still feel the joy and excitement that going to school can bring. I believe by putting some learning tools in their hands will help to do that.
