Flexible seating will allow my active students to get out their wiggles while not distracting their peers or causing them to lose focus. It will also allow students to make their seats more comfortable so that they can stay engaged in the classroom. This will allow students who struggle with sitting still to remain in their seats during our math lectures, reading assignments, and assessments.
Flexible seating will allow students to have comfortable seats while they read in our library and reading nook. Students who need a break away from their peers will also have the opportunity to find a space in the classroom where they feel emotionally, physically, and mentally safe.
